Multi-Million Dollar Case Against Client Dismissed Before Trial

Mr. Buus's client, an inventor, was accused of causing a large, foreign electronics manufacturer to suffer millions of dollars of damages for allegedly breaching two patent licensing agreements,  After years of contentious and costly litigation, the manufacturer decided to dismiss the lawsuit shortly before trial -- and shortly after the filing of two motions that exposed critical factual weaknesses in the manufacturer's case.  "We were in the midst of preparing for trial," William Buus said, "and this development came as a complete surprise to us.  The client and I are obviously very pleased with the result."
